Open countryside nearby
A country park a few minutes’ drive away. Open space and good walking routes. Ideal for a morning run or a long evening walk when the beach is busy.
Year-round dog friendly beach
Ten minutes on foot. Two designated dog-friendly zones, all year round. Blue Flag, safe and sandy, and a lot more pleasant than trying to find a dog-friendly beach in peak season elsewhere.

A few things worth knowing

Your dog stays with you on your pitch, in your tent, motorhome or caravan, just as they would at home. There’s no separate dog area and no list of restrictions beyond keeping them on a lead around the site, which is standard on any campsite and keeps everyone comfortable.

If it rains (it is Devon), the dog wash means you can rinse them off before they get back inside. The site is green and grassy, which dogs tend to enjoy regardless of weather.

Bins are located throughout the site. Please use them.

“Friendly, immaculately clean, welcoming site which is very well maintained and secure. Spacious pitches and no problems with the electric hook up. Fantastic washing up facilities and opportunity to use small freezer for ice packs. Very dog friendly. Amanda’s on site catering was well priced and delicious. We enjoyed the pulled pork and chicken curry dishes during the easter weekend. Again very friendly and welcoming service. (Not always on site) Location is excellent, with great links to Dawlish and Dawlish Warren”
